Make an
impact  into the future

Join the Sedona Symphony Legacy Society

The music we share today is only possible because of the vision and

generosity of our founders and donors. The Sedona Symphony Legacy

Society invites you to carry that spirit forward by including the Symphony in

your estate plans.

Create a living legacy that sustains our concerts, supports our musicians,

and nurtures the next generation of music lovers. Legacy gifts can

support the area of the Symphony that means the most to you — from

artistic leadership and guest artists, to youth education and community

engagement.

In every case, your gift helps keep the music alive while offering meaningful

tax advantages. Together, we can ensure that the sound of live orchestral

music continues to echo through Sedona’s red rocks

Many Options to Give

There are many ways to make planned gifts. They can be gifts made today

that are as simple as including the Symphony in your life insurance

policies, making gifts of stock or property, or gifts from charitable

designations or trusts. Or they can be legacy gifts included in your will and

bequests that will benefit the symphony long after you are gone.

William and Elizabeth Sweeney Endowment Fund

Consider contributing your planned gift to the inspirational William and

Elizabeth Sweeney Endowment Fund. Established with a transformational

$100,000 gift from long-time patrons Bill and Liz Sweeney. This landmark

fund strengthens the very heart of our orchestra by supporting the role of

Artistic Director and Conductor beginning in July 2026.

The Sweeneys’ generosity reflects their belief in the power of live orchestral

music to inspire, uplift, and connect communities. Their vision ensures that

Sedona Symphony will receive strong, inspired leadership long into the

future. This endowment aims to sustain and grow Sedona Symphony’s

artistic goal to reach wider audiences in Sedona, the Verde Valley, and

beyond.

Why Legacy Giving?

  • Leave a Legacy that Plays On. Imagine the joy of knowing that the music you love today will continue to inspire others long into the future.

  •  A planned gift to the Sedona Symphony lets your passion for music live on—resonating through every performance, every young musician’s discovery, and every note that fills our community with beauty.

  • Planned giving is a powerful way to make a lasting difference. These gifts are commitments made today to benefit the Symphony in the future often as part of your estate plan.

  • Planned gifts reflect your values, your love of the arts, and your wish to ensure that live orchestral music continues to enrich Northern Arizona for generations to come.

  • In addition to making a lasting impact on the Symphony, your planned gift may also provide tax advantages for you and your heirs, such as reductions in income, capital gains, estate, or gift taxes.

  • Every legacy gift—large or small—helps sustain the Symphony’s mission to inspire through the power of live music. Explore how your gift can become part of our enduring symphonic story. Email us here
