Jacqueline Rodenbeck

Seventeen-year-old Mexican-American violinist Jacqueline Rodenbeck, based in Tucson, Arizona, is an award-winning soloist and former concertmaster of the Tucson Philharmonia Youth Orchestra.

She has earned top prizes in national and international competitions and has appeared as a soloist with numerous regional orchestras. Recently, Jacqueline won first prize in the junior division of the prestigious Sphinx Competition in Detroit and performed as a soloist with the Sphinx Symphony Orchestra. She was also featured on NPR’s From the Top.

Her musical studies have taken her to renowned programs including the Heifetz Institute, Sphinx Performance Academy, Curtis Mentor Program, Encore Chamber Music Institute, the Kennedy Center’s NSO Summer Music Institute, and, this summer, Carnegie Hall’s NYO-USA summer program.

In addition to her musical achievements, Jacqueline is a state-level cross country runner and a talented alto vocalist, bringing discipline, artistry, and joy to every stage she graces.
